Interpreter by Kristy Marie

by books and moods

The best crew in Georgia is back! Oh how I missed these people! I love them so much. I don’t know how Kristy manages to do this, but each book is better than the last (and I freaking love every book in this series). I never thought Tim would steal my heart, but he we are.

“I knew it was coming. Slowly, deafness creeped into my life, muffling the surrounding noise. Shouts became whispers and music became white noise.”

Tim, the broody silent marine and also music prodigy. We met him back in Commander when he was homeless (like all the other guys), we also knew he was losing his hearing with the pass of time. At the beginning of this book we learn that he is completely deaf, so he is now mad at the world and a little lost in life, so his therapist tells him that he needs to move on with his life and suggest he gets a job. This is where he meets Milah, the sassy latin teacher. I’ve loved every heroine in this series and Milah wasn’t the exception, she is this fierce little thing, she put up with Tim and she never backed down, they were the perfect match, I don’t think there’s another person as perfect for him as Milah, she was everything he didn’t know needed.

“Somewhere in all this, Milah became everything to me. She’s the reason I get up in the morning. The reason I stop by the convenience store every morning for a bag of mint M&M’s. The whole reason that I can now play music and enjoy it.”

They both had to go through some tough situations so they could have they happy ever after. And what a fun an emotional journey it was, I loved every second of it. BUT and this is a big BUT, what I loved the most of this book is the relationship between Tim and Aspen (Ans and Theo’s daughter) OMG this is the most precious thing in the world, the way she sings or grabs his face (goodbye ovaries) too cute to handle. I hope and pray that we get somehow Aspen’s book (pretty please).

Anyways, this is definitely a must read. This book will make you laugh, swoon and even shed a tear or two. I can’t wait for the next book. And if you haven’t read the previous books go and binge read now!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review
