This is how we rate the books we read, how we feel about them and the meaning of said rating in the reviews we make. We use a scale of 5 in the increments of 1, but some times there are exceptions, either the book was epically good and deserves more than just five stars or it was so bad we don’t even rate it or make a review.
It was a waste of our time. The book had issues in terms of writing style and grammar, there were plot holes and the characters weren’t developed well enough. It was a struggle to finish. We don’t recommend it.
Meh. The story was okay, but it had some plot issues, we didn’t connect with the characters or the story at all. We were bored at times but we finished it.
This is what we call an average book. The story wasn’t the most original but it was entertaining and somewhat satisfying to read. The writing was okay and we might recommend this book.
Loved the book. It was a good story with relatable characters and a great writing style. The topics touched by the author were developed really well, but we feel the story was missing something or something ruined the flow of the book at some point. We highly recommend it and might read it again.
We couldn’t put it down. It was meaningful, a must read and a favorite for us. The story was perfectly written, we connected with the characters and the story on a whole other level. It was a flawless book, an amazing read and we will definitely recommend it.
There are good books and there are exceptional out of this world books. This story was everything and more and we can’t stop thinking about it, this book will stay with us for a very long time, we won’t get tired of recommend it and will re read from time to time.
